IND vs ENG, 2nd ODI: England beat India by 100 runs, Level 3 series 1-1

London: England beat India by 100 runs in the second ODI here on Thursday to level the three-match series 1-1.

Invited to bat, England were all out for 246, with Moeen Ali scoring 47. David Willey and Jonny Bairstow scored 41 and 38 runs respectively. Yuzvendra Chahal was the most successful bowler for India with 4/47 while Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets each. Mohammed Shami and famous Krishna got a wicket each.

Chasing the target, India were bowled out for 146 runs in 38.5 overs, in which none of the visiting batsmen made any significant contribution. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja scored 29-29 runs. Reece Topley took six for 24 to move up the Indian batting line-up and register a massive win for England. India won the first ODI on Tuesday by 10 wickets.
