Kartik Aaryan is currently busy shooting the second leg of his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Kolkata. Recently, he was spotted at the Howrah Bridge at 5 am, dressed in his character Rooh Baba’s attire – black robe, bandana, sunglasses, and Rudraksha beads. Kartik also shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the set on Instagram.
Despite the area being cordoned off, a large number of fans gathered on the Howrah Bridge to catch a glimpse of the actor. Kartik took time between shots to wave and smile at his fans. In another video, he was seen riding a motorbike with a sidecar across the iconic bridge. Kartik also filmed scenes at the Mallick Ghat flower market and Laha Bari in Central Kolkata.
Kartik also shared a behind-the-scenes photo from Howrah Bridge with Kolkata’s iconic yellow taxis in the background. He captioned it, “Kolkata How-rah You 👋.”
In February, Kartik announced actor Tripti Dimri’s participation in the film by sharing a photo with her. Tripti will play a lead role alongside Kartik Aaryan. “The thrills and chills intensify with the addition of Animal actress Triptii Dimri on board,” Kartik wrote, unveiling Triptii’s face. “Welcome to the world of Bhool Bhulaiyaa @tripti_dimri.”
Additionally, Kartik confirmed that Vidya Balan would reprise her iconic ‘OG Manjulika’ role in the third installment of the franchise, exciting fans for a complete Bhool Bhulaiyaa reunion. In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Tabu played the dual roles of Anjulika and Manjulika. The film also starred Kiara Advani in a lead role.
Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to hit theatres on Diwali this year.
