Mumbai: Bollywood actor Karthik Aryan is in a lot of headlines these days. The actor, who walked out of Dharma Productions’ “Dostana 2” earlier this year, has announced another upcoming film. Kartik is all set to play a pilot in Hansal Mehta’s next film ‘Captain India’.
Taking to his social media, Kartik Aaryan announced his upcoming film with ‘Scam 1992’ director Hansal Mehta and wrote, “With great pride and respect when a person goes beyond the call of duty, we Bringing you #CaptainIndia”.

Inspired by India’s biggest and most successful rescue missions, Kartik will be seen essaying the role of a pilot who showed exemplary bravery and courage in this upcoming film.
Speaking about his excitement working on this project, the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ actor said, “Captain India is equally inspiring and thrilling and it gives me immense pleasure to be a part of such a historic chapter of our country. Proud and honour. I have a lot of respect for Hansal sir’s work and this was the perfect opportunity to collaborate with him.
The ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor was recently in news with Sameer Vidwan over the title dispute of his upcoming film. The film, earlier titled ‘Satyanarayana Ki Katha’, has changed its title as it reportedly hurts the sentiments of certain sections of the people.. As the title created an uproar on social media, the makers decided to change the title. The new title of the film has not been announced yet.
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Captain India’ and an upcoming film with Sameer Vidwan, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.
