Kalatha Puranagam arranges vaccination for those who are unable to leave their homes

Kolkata Puranigam is taking a strong initiative to ensure everyone in the city gets the corona vaccine. For those who are unable to step out of the house to ensure vaccination, a WhatsApp number has been made available. Apart from this, Purnima also plans to open additional health centers in many wards.

On Monday, Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim said in the context of vaccination, “There are many people who are not able to go out of the house for vaccination. They will be vaccinated at home. However, they will be vaccinated at home at the end of the day or in the evening. Anyone who wants to be vaccinated will be vaccinated according to their timings,” he said. He said that they can contact by calling 983048393. There, the ticker system will be arranged on giving their phone number, Aadhar card number and name of any family member.

At the same time, Kolkata Poornima is also planning to open additional health centers in some wards. In this context, the Mayor of Kolkata said, ‘A plan will be made to open a health center as soon as the old corporation gets 61,400 square feet of space. In such a situation, even if you do not get 1400 square feet of space at a time. In such a situation, additional health centers can be opened if space is available on two floors of 600 square feet.” But why is Poornima taking such an initiative? However, such initiatives have been taken to provide more medical services to the poor and needy people in the wards. If additional health centers are built, it will be possible to avoid overcrowding.
