John Terry’s announcement comes with just two more weeks to go for the Premier League next season.

Former Chelsea legend John Terry broke ties with Premier League side Aston Villa on Monday. Terry hasn’t announced his next destination yet. However, it turns out that it will take them some time to make a decision. Terry’s announcement comes with only two more weeks to go for next season of the English Premier League. Meanwhile, Villa has yet to announce his replacement for Terry. The former England defender spent three years at Villa as an assistant to Dean Smith. He was also an important member of Smith’s backroom staff, which helped him secure promotion to England’s top level in 2019.

Meanwhile, according to a report in daily Mail, Terry’s favorite to work in Swansea. The report also states that Swansea has spoken to Terry in the past.

Terry joined Villa in the summer of 2017 and represented them in 32 games in the 2017–18 season, before coming second to Smith. “It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to spend the last three years at Aston Villa,” the 40-year-old is quoted as saying by the villa’s official website.

The former centre-back has also insisted that he feels it is the right time for him to move on. According to British media reports, Terry has no plans to take up any other job, but is planning to take a sabbatical. After that, he would visit Europe to study different coaching styles and then look for a head coach job.

Terry too has not shied away from expressing his desire to take up a managerial job, saying it has always been his dream. Explaining his decision, he further said that going to the next job would not be right on his part. With uncertainty in mind about your future.

Meanwhile, Villa still has two able-bodied assistants Richard O’Kelly and Craig Shakespeare and has not announced any replacements for Terry.
