JK BJP files FIR against Abdul Rashid Dar of Congress for alleged derogatory remarks against PM

The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the BJP on Saturday lodged an FIR against Congress leader Abdul Rashid Dar for his alleged derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A BJP spokesperson said an FIR has been registered against Dar, a former Sopore MLA, at the Ram Munshi Bagh police station. He said that BJP leaders also took out a protest march.

The spokesperson alleged that Dar had made some derogatory remarks against the prime minister during a Congress party event. “It shows the mindset of the Congress party and their leadership. We will not tolerate such people who are a threat to the country,” he said.

Such words have hurt the sentiments of 135 crore Indians. BJP spokesperson said that the guilty should be punished. He said that the police have assured us that they will take appropriate action in the matter.
