Curfew in Palamu: Tension prevailed in Palamu’s Panki area following a dispute between two groups over the construction of a pylon at one place for the upcoming Shivratri festival. According to the police, more than 100 personnel have been deployed to control the situation. Incidents of stone pelting have also come to the fore.
Many officers of many police stations including Tehsi, Pipratand, Lesliganj have also reached Panki.
According to the police, Section 144 has been imposed in Panki area and monitoring on social media has been increased.
