Jasprit Bumrah took his first five-wicket haul in One Day Internationals in 2017 in the third match of the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Bumrah’s extraordinary spell restricted Lanka to 217 runs. India easily chased down the total and Bumrah was awarded the player of the match.
6/19 v England in ODIs, London (2022)
Jasprit Bumrah showed his class in the first game of the three-match ODI series against England in 2022. Boom Boom Bumrah tore apart England’s batting line-up, returning figures of 6/19 at The Oval. Bumrah’s spell set the tone for the rest of the series as India won the match by ten wickets.

2/20 vs England in T20Is, Nagpur (2017)
The indispensable Bumrah produced another match-winning spell in 2017 to help India level the three-match T20I series at 1-1. With England needing just 8 runs from 6 balls, England were favorites to win against the hosts. But Bumrah had other ideas as he conceded just two runs and took two wickets in the final over to seal a nervous win in the 2nd T20I in Nagpur.
6/33 against Australia in Test match, Melbourne (2018)
Bumrah produced one of his finest spells in 2018 in the Melbourne Test. On a flat MCG surface, Bumrah’s 6 for 33 bundled out Australia for 151. His exploits with the ball helped India take a first innings lead. Virat Kohli & Co finally registered a famous Test win below.
6/27 v West Indies in Test match, Kingston (2019)
Jasprit Bumrah took his career-best spell of 6/27 in the second game of the two-match Test series against the West Indies in 2019. Bumrah wreaked havoc on the hosts as Calypso Kings were bundled out for just 117 runs in their first innings. India went on to win the match and secure a stunning Test series victory in the West Indies.
