Bigg Boss 16 is all set to see new equations in the house with the appointment of new captain – Ankit Gupta. The Salman Khan show is all set to enter its 10th week and has seen the reign of six captains so far. Contestants eligible for captaincy Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary, Shalin Bhanot and Sumbul Touqueer Khan faced tough odds to rule the Bigg Boss house. Ankit Gupta emerged as the winner of the house. We also see Soundarya getting disappointed with Ankit as he helped her win the task. We also see Archana Gautam going to school to scold the housemates for the wastage of food.

Soundarya Sharma helped Ankit Gupta win the task
With its captaincy function, the garden area of Bibi House turns into a Dhobi Ghat (washing place). Four of the contenders – Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary, Shaleen Bhanot and Sumbul Touqueer Khan – have their own laundry stalls with their photographs pasted on them. In each stall, we see clothes-drying lines and all four contestants throw the ingredients in the tub (gulal and mitti) onto the hanging clothes. Each claimant was accompanied by an assistant who cleaned the clothes when they were dirty and hung them on ropes to dry. Ankit saved Sajid Khan and Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary from nominations, however, Soundarya worked as a washer for Ankit Gupta and helped him win the task. Later she gets disappointed with him for not saving her in the nomination and breaks down in tears.

Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot planning to break up the group of 7
Amidst the captaincy task, Tina Dutta and Shalin Bhanot hatch a plan to break the Group of Seven which includes Shiv Thackeray, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Abdu Rozick, MC Steyn, Sumbul Touqueer, Soundarya Sharma, Sajid Khan. however, they fail to do so. In fact, Tina gets angry with Shaleen as she did not help her win the task.
Tina Dutta, Archana Gautam praised Ankit Gupta
Ankit Gupta is becoming the new hottie of the house. While Tina Dutta gets angry with Shaleen Bhanot and praises him for being jealous of Ankit. Tina tells Ankit that she likes his uncomfortable look. Later, we see Archana Gautam showing her liking for Ankit in front of Priyanka Chahar Chowdhary. She also tells Priyanka that her favorite movie is 50 Shades of Grey.
Archana Gautam schools the contestants for wastage of food
Archana is unhappy that rotis (chapatis) were thrown here and there in the name of saving her. He is upset that even the leftover food is not being stored properly and is kept all over the place in the kitchen. Archana goes and asks Mc Stan, Sajid Khan, Abdu, Sumbul Touqueer and Nimrit Kaur if they kept the rotis in a chaotic manner. She talks about some people not getting food in the first place. Nimrit replies to her that those who are in this room have already been accused of overeating and are capable of eating their share of rotis and will not waste. They hint at Shaleen and Tina being the ones who did it. She says that she will not accept wastage of food in any way. Shalin Bhanot and Tina Dutta who are indirectly accused listen to the announcement without commenting.
This time the celebrities fighting in the house are Sajid Khan, Tina Dutta, Shaleen Bhaneet, Soundarya Sharma, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Ankit Gupta, Priyanka Chaudhary, Sumbul Touqueer Khan, Archana Gautam, Shiv Thackeray and Abdu Rojik. Whereas, Gautam Vig, Gori Nagori, Sreejita Dey and Manya Singh have been evicted from the house. Bigg Boss 16 has already grabbed a lot of headlines this time due to its new twists and changes, which also includes shifting of Weekend Ka Vaar days from Sat-Ravi to Fri-Sat. Bigg Boss 16 airs every Monday to Friday at 10 PM and every Saturday-Sunday at 9 PM only on Colors and Voot.
