Irrigation & Allied Services Stock Declares 150% Dividend; FIIs Increase Stake; Do you Own?

KSB Ltd. declares dividend: KSB Ltd., a mid-cap company operating in Irrigation and allied services sector, declared a dividend of Rs.15.00 per equity share for the financial year ended December 31, 2022.

Despite being a debt-free company, it has declared 150 per cent dividend to its eligible shareholders. The company said in a stock exchange filing that the board of directors has approved the recommendation for payment of a dividend of Rs 15.00 (150 per cent) per equity share on 3,48,07,844 equity shares. up) for the financial year ending December 31, 2022 and subject to the approval of the shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company. The Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company to be declared for the purpose of Annual General Meeting and payment of dividend shall remain closed from April 30, 2023 to May 11, 2023 (both days inclusive).”

During Q3FY23, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 524.60 crore on a consolidated basis, up 18 percent YoY from Rs 444.60 crore in Q3FY22. The company said its net expenses stood at Rs 462.30 crore as compared to Rs 401.10 crore recorded in the year-ago quarter. KSB Ltd said its net profit reached Rs 55.90 crore in Q3FY23, up 41.87 per cent from Rs 39.40 crore in Q3FY22. The EPS of KSB Ltd. stood at Rs 18.06 for the quarter ended Dec 2022 as against Rs 11.32 for the quarter ended Dec 2021.

During Q3FY23, KSB Ltd reported promoter shareholding of 66.69 per cent, FII shareholding of 3.23 per cent, DII shareholding of 10.85 per cent and public shareholding of 19.21 per cent. Promoters holding in KSB Ltd. is stable at 66.69 per cent, FII/FPI raised stake from 3.17 per cent in QE Sep 2022 to 3.23 per cent in QE Dec 2022 and mutual funds from 8.08 per cent in Q2 FY2023 share has been reduced. 8.05 per cent in Q3FY23.
