“Kolkata Knight Riders captain Nitish Rana has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate against Punjab Kings during their Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
“As this was his team’s first offense of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Mr Rana was fined Rs. 12 lakhs,” read the official IPL statement.
