However, Delhi Capitals are yet to decide on the captain of the team. After reaching the UAE, it may be clear whether the team will be headed by Rishabh Pant or Shreyas Iyer will be made the captain of the team again.
Delhi franchise’s domestic players and paramedics had gathered in the capital earlier this week, and all of them were tested negative for Covid-19. Now they are all set to leave the country. A DC official said, “Delhi Capitals will leave for UAE on Saturday morning along with domestic players and staff. The domestic players are already under quarantine in the national capital and will be quarantined in UAE after a week.”

The team of Delhi Capitals has full faith in its foreign players. When asked about the international players, the official said, “International players will come after fulfilling their international commitments. Shreyas Iyer is already in UAE.”
