iOS 15.1.1 update rolling out to fix call drop issue in iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 lineup. description

New Delhi: Fixing the call drop issue, Apple is rolling out iOS 15.1.1 update for new iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 started. Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max models. As per the release note, the update fixes call-drop performance issues on the mentioned iPhone models.

Several iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 users have recently experienced persistent call drops on their devices, preventing them from receiving incoming calls. This OTA update, which is said to be slightly over 1.4GB in size, is providing a solution to this problem.

Those who wish to update to the latest iOS 15.1.1 can do so from the Settings app on their device. However, this is a fairly minor update. The iOS 15.2 update is likely to bring important features to the iPhone lineup.

The release of iOS 15.1.1 comes nearly a month after the Cupertino, California-headquartered tech giant launched iOS 15.1, which enabled its long-awaited SharePlay feature. The SharePlay feature allows users to watch movies and shows or listen to music with friends on a FaceTime call. This lets you send whatever you’re watching on the iPhone to the Apple TV.

Meanwhile, in another news, Apple is likely to sell over 80 million iPhones in the holiday quarter from October to December, according to a report earlier this week.

According to Daniel Ives, Principal Analyst at Wedbush, the demand for iPhones during this busy holiday season is 15 per cent more than the supply. The renowned Apple analyst noted that the iPhone maker will sell around 40 million iPhone units between Black Friday and Christmas alone, thus, a record holiday pace for the Cupertino-based California-based company.
