New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently busy shooting for her new project ‘Citadel’ based on the American spy-thriller of the same name. The actress celebrated her birthday on April 28, however, a week later, the actress shared a few glimpses of the celebration from the sets of ‘Citadel’.
In the caption, Samantha mentioned that she wanted a simple birthday with no surprises, cake or balloons, however, what happened was the exact opposite of her expectations. “The rules were simple.. no surprises, no cake, definitely no f**k in balloons I clearly got the week I wanted,” she wrote. However, in the pictures, the producers of the show Raj and DK can be seen throwing her a surprise party.
Fans were very excited to see the pictures from Samantha’s birthday party and shared their love for her in the comments section. Samantha was last seen in the Telugu mythological film ‘Shakuntalam’ which opened to positive reviews from critics, however, the film failed to impress the audience at the box office. Apart from ‘Citadel’, she will next be seen in the upcoming romantic film ‘Khushi’ opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
