India’s home season in 2023 will begin in January with six limited-overs matches against Sri Lanka. The BCCI on Thursday announced the schedule of three T20 matches and both the teams will play the same number of ODIs in a span of 12 days starting January 3 in Mumbai.

“India’s 2022-23 international home season will begin in January with a three-match T20 International and a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka,” the BCCI said in a release on Thursday.

The tour begins with a three-match T20I series with Pune and Rajkot being the two other venues confirmed as hosts apart from Mumbai.
