Ind vs SA T20 today: For the convenience of the spectators, DMRC extended the timing of the last train

New Delhi: In view of the India vs South Africa 1st T20I match in the national capital on Thursday (June 9, 2022), the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has decided to extend the timing of its last train for the convenience of the spectators, who come back by metro. Will use it for Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ferozeshah Kotla Ground, The timing of the last train has been extended by about 30-45 minutes on all lines except the Airport Express Line.

The stadium is adjacent to Delhi Gate and ITO Metro stations on the Violet Line which connects Kashmere Gate and Raja Nahar Singh stations.

DMRC said in a statement that Delhi Metro will conduct additional train journeys around 48.

“In anticipation of sudden rush at these nearby metro stations after the match is over, Delhi Metro is extending its last train time on all lines by about 30-45 minutes to make additional train journeys (approximately 48). This will be using Metro By enabling the visitors to reach their destination easily,” the statement read.

Metro corridors include Red Line (Rithala-Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda), Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli-HUDA City Centre), Blue Line (Dwarka Sec-21-NOIDA Electronic City/Vaishali), Pink Line (Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar) and Magenta Line (Janakpuri (W)-Botanical Garden).

The last trains from Terminal Metro stations, on an average, leave between around 11:30 am and midnight.
