It is no secret that Saif Ali Khan’s elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan will be making his acting debut soon and if reports are to be believed, the star kid is traveling to Kullu-Manali for the same on Monday, February 20.
As reported by E-Times, Ibrahim will begin shooting in Kullu-Manali for his acting debut, which will be directed by Boman Irani’s son Kayoj Irani. Interestingly, the news of Ibrahim’s visit comes a day after Boman Irani also took to his Instagram handle to reveal that his son is all set to make his feature film debut as a director.
It was also reported last month that Ibrahim is working on a physical transformation for his acting debut film. “While Ibrahim has started prepping for his debut role, he will start shooting for the film from February. He has to have a certain look in the film, and he has been working diligently on his physical transformation. Meanwhile, the readings and workshops are going on simultaneously,” claimed a source quoted by Pinkvilla.
Apart from Ibrahim, the film is also likely to feature Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. Reportedly, it will be a remake of Malayalam romantic comedy Hridayam. “This is the best project to launch Ibrahim. Karan has been looking for a suitable launch film for Ibrahim for some time now. The character in Hridayam of a bright student maturing into marriage and parenthood is perfect for Ibrahim, A source quoted Bollywood Hungama reported in May 2022. However, it is also to be noted that there is no official announcement yet for Ibrahim’s acting debut.
Although Ibrahim is yet to make his big screen debut, he has earlier directed Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani, a love story in which he plays the lead. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead role. He worked as an assistant director for the film. The love story of Rocky and Rani marks Karan Johar’s return to direction after 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. It will hit the theaters in April this year.
