Moody praised Umran a lot and said that it is difficult to find such fast bowlers who can move at a speed of 150 kmph.

Moody is quite happy with the Indian team management giving Umran regular chances in limited overs cricket.

Talking about whether Umran should get a chance in the Test team as well, Moody suggested that small steps need to be implemented for his growth and development on the big stage.

“For me, I don’t have a crystal ball. Right now it’s small steps in his development. The Indian selectors and coaching team felt it was important to integrate him into the T20 and fifty-over games. He wanted to get those experiences. doing,” Moody said.

The 23-year-old has taken 12 wickets in 7 ODIs at an average of 25.25 in his career so far. Whereas in T20s, he has proved to be a bit expensive with an economy rate of 10.9 in 6 matches.
