- Shyam Singha RoyReleased in 2021, Sai Pallavi played the role of a Bengali devadasi in the Telugu-language period romantic drama. The story focuses on a filmmaker who discovers a connection with his previous life after being accused of plagiarism.
- Virata ParvamA 2022 film, Virata Parvam features Sai Pallavi opposite Rana Daggubati. Directed by Venu Udugula, the plot is set against the backdrop of naxalism, with events taking place in Telangana during the 1990s. Their love story is what forms the main crux of the film.
- GargiCounted among one of her best performances, Sai Pallavi-led Gargi initiates important conversations on what happens when a family takes sides with the abuser of the daughter instead of the survivor. The 2022 film also serves as a grim reminder of the 2018 Ayanavaram incident, where a young girl was raped by 17 men for over six months.
Sai Pallavi: Upcoming films
- RamayanaDirected by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana will feature actor Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role of Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi will portray Mata Sita. While details about the film are yet to be revealed, a few pictures of the actor were recently leaked online. Besides Sai and Ranbir, Lara Dutta and Arun Govil will also play significant roles. The film is expected to hit theatres in 2025.
- ThandelDirected by Chandoo Mondeti, Thandel features Sai Pallavi opposite Naga Chaitanya. The story is inspired by the 2018 incident when Andhra Pradesh fishermen were drifted into Pakistan and taken into custody. While Chaitanya plays one of the hostages, Sai plays his love interest. The film is expected to release in December 2024.
- AmaranA biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan, the film features Sai Pallavi as the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan. The events are set in 2014, revolving around the search operation and the terrorist attack in Shopian, Kashmir. Amaran is slated to release in September this year.
