Former cricketer and former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu, who is serving a one-year jail term in Patiala jail in the road rage case, again came into the limelight with his behavior. The prisoners lodged in the barracks with him said that Sidhu is taunting. He complained about this to the jail administration. On the other hand, Sidhu says that these prisoners have made purchases with their cards without informing them. However, in view of the situation, the jail administration has changed the barracks of the prisoners lodged with Sidhu.

Along with Sidhu, 5 more prisoners have been detained. Sidhu works in the jail office from the barracks itself. Seeing Sidhu’s security, he is not allowed to step out. If Sidhu has to order any goods, then he gets it from other prisoners who are locked up with him.
Navjot Sidhu was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment by the Supreme Court in the 34-year-old road rage case. After which he surrendered.

According to jail sources, Sidhu says that these prisoners bought goods without informing them from their cards. His card limit is low, so he objected to it. At the same time, the prisoners say that Sidhu talked to them with tardiness. Which he also complained to the jail authorities.
Sidhu is lodged in this jail in Patiala, Punjab. Because of their safety, they are hired from inside the barracks rather than from the factory or bakery.
Jail administration changed the barracks of 3 prisoners
After this dispute, the jail administration immediately changed the barracks of 3 prisoners lodged with Sidhu. Now only 2 prisoners are left with him. Confirming this, Patiala Jail Superintendent Manjit Singh said that the barracks of some prisoners have been changed. However, he cannot say anything more than this. Some prisoners have been kept with Sidhu as per the jail rules.
In his speech also, Sidhu does taunting to every big and small, many times questions have been raised about this too, but he maintains his style.
Sidhu in dispute with tongue
Sidhu has been in controversies many times because of his tongue. He talks to every big and small thing only. There were objections about it, but Sidhu stuck to his style.
- During the election rally, he had made objectionable remarks on the police personnel. After which some employees of Punjab Police were also enraged. The Chandigarh Police officer even sent a defamation notice.
- He was taking a convoy from Mohali during the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. During this, when the then CM Charanjit Channi lay down for a while, Sidhu got angry and said abusive words.
- Even during the press conference in Chandigarh, abusive words came out of Sidhu’s mouth.
- During the election, in the press conference, Sidhu had said about Kejriwal that you come to me, take off your muffler. He was strongly opposed by the Aam Aadmi Party that he was speaking abusive language for the elected CM.
