Gold fell by Rs 37; Silver falls by Rs 332

According to HDFC Securities, gold fell by Rs 37 to Rs 46,417 per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday amid weak prices of the precious metal in the international market.

In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 46,454 per 10 grams. Silver also declined by Rs 332 to Rs 63,612 per kg from Rs 63,944 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading flat at $ 1,815 an ounce and silver at $ 24.50 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Gold prices weakened on Tuesday after dollar recovery.”
