Ganesh Chaturthi: Salman Khan will not celebrate at home this year shooting for Tiger 3 in Turkey

every year, Salman Khan And his family celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with great zeal and enthusiasm. His residence Galaxy Apartments in suburban Mumbai is usually packed with celebs and fans alike. Since its inception in 2001, not a single year has gone by when the family has missed bringing the elephant deity into their homes. Khan’s younger sister Arpita Khan Sharma is in charge of all the festivities and rituals.

But this time the actors will not be a part of the ceremony. Khan, along with his co-stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, is currently shooting for the third part of the Tiger franchise in Turkey. A source close to the actor revealed that it will be difficult for the actor to return home in view of the strict COVID-19 protocol.

“The entire cast and crew is shooting in Turkey in Bio Bubble. After completing the current schedule, they will go to Austria which is the next destination of the film. The shooting of a significant portion of the film has already been delayed and the makers do not want to delay it any further. Khan will have no choice but to miss the festival.”

However, this is not the first time that Khan will miss the festival. In 2014, the actor was in Los Angeles for a medical check-up as he was treated for trigeminal neuralgia in 2011.

News18.com had earlier reported that Khan and Kaif will be shooting a dance number in Cappadocia for Tiger 3, which is going to be bigger than Tiger Zinda Hai’s Swag Se Swagat. We had also reported that the actor’s nephew Nirvaan Khan is working as an assistant director in the film.
