Hyderabad: Rachakonda Cyber Crime Police has arrested a budding short film producer from Bengaluru for allegedly harassing a female Tollywood singer by creating her fake social media account.
The arrested person is M Naveen Kumar (34), a short film producer from Anekal taluk in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Police said Naveen started a film production company in the name of the victim, in which her photographs were displayed as logos and created fake social media accounts of her. There he uploaded web series, album songs and short films etc.
When the victim warned him to stop his activities, Naveen refused to do so and instead started forcing him to give a no-objection certificate to continue his business.
