Exclusive! Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 winner Dilsha Prasannan: I also wished the show gets a female winner but never thought it would be me – Times of India

Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 winner Dilsha Prasannan is busy after her successful stint in the show. Photoshoots, inaugurations, TV shows- it was indeed tough to catch hold of the first female winner of the show, and finally, ETimes TV got in touch with her for an interview. In the exclusive chat, the dancer spoke about her life in the house, emerging as the winner, cyber attacks, and more…

Entering Bigg Boss house was indeed a huge challenge for the family girl, she shared that it was a ‘do or die’ situation for her.

“I was a much-pampered girl, who didn’t have to face many bad phases in life; thanks to my family. So, for me, being with a group of unknown people was a tough task. However, I was sure that I will not compromise on my values and principles in the house. Thankfully, I have successfully done that. Even though it was a game show, every task reflected one’s personality too, so I was keen to stay myself. In a house full of people, who lost their calm, and cried out loud, I managed to maintain zeal and I am proud of myself. My aim was to remind the importance of family to the younger generation. I wanted to stand as an example and teach them that no matter how much you grow and find your own life, never forget to embrace your family close to your heart. I feel great that I could happily convey it throughout my stint. Many people contacted me saying they are being closer to their families after seeing me in the show,” she said.

Disha is all excited to share that she had enjoyed some unforgettable moments from the BB house too.

“I will never forget my birthday celebration in the house. I got to cut three cakes during my birthday and that too in front of Lalettan. It was magical when he wished me and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to me. Performing in front of Kamal Haasan sir was yet another special moment. I literally had happy tears when the team asked me to choreograph the song from Vikram and perform it in front of Kamal sir. I will never forget this moment,” Dilsha shared.

When asked about her excitement about being the first female winner of the show, Dilsha said that she always wished for it to happen.

“I badly wished to see a lady lift the BB trophy, but never thought I would be able to achieve the same. I hoped to survive 100 days there, which indeed is a big thing. However, over time, I tried my best to perform well in each task given to me. I enjoyed the ticket to the finale task the most, the games, the game points everything was challenging, The winner said.

Even though Dilsha feels overwhelmed by the love showered by a quarter of viewers, which she values more than the 50 lakh cash prize money, she feels devastated by cyberbullying she has been facing ever since the finale of the show.

“To an extent, I am able to bear it, but It’s unbearable when they aim at my family and dear ones, what did they do? I don’t understand what pleasure one gets in tarnishing a fellow human being’s image in cyberspace. It is heartbreaking to know that even people who supported me had faced it. Plus, I wonder at the fake news spreading in my name by many youtube channels, shouldn’t they at least take the basic courtesy to verify news? How can people project some fake voice clips and make-up stories? I am done with being accused of cheating two and grabbing the prize money. I hope people who genuinely love me don’t need any explanations on these. ,” she concluded.
