Election Results 2022 at 6 am Full Section: Counting of votes in 5 states, will BJP remain in power in Uttar Pradesh? , ABP News

The much-awaited counting of votes for the assembly elections in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur will begin at 8 am and ABP Live will bring you every important update during D-Day so that you don’t miss it. As per the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on any action outside, the counting of postal ballot papers will start first and then the EVMs at 8 am. Three-tier security measures have been put in place by the ECI with the deployment of several companies of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and others at all the counting centres. The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has also said that a 100-metre radius around the counting centers has been declared a “pedestrian zone” and no one will be allowed to drive in that area. The initial trends will indicate an observation of the final result around mid-day but the final results will be out only by evening. In states with fewer assembly seats like Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, the trend will become clear by noon, but counting of votes in Uttar Pradesh is likely to take some time as the state has 403 seats.
