NCB issued an official statement after conducting the raid, which read, “Based on specific information, the officials of NCB Mumbai conducted a raid on Cordelia Cruise from Mumbai to Goa on 02.10.2021. Searched all the suspects during the operation. According to the information taken, various drugs like MDMA/Ecstasy, Cocaine, MD (Mephedrone) and Charas have been recovered. A total of 08 persons including 02 women have been arrested in connection with the above recovery and their role is being probed. NCB Mumbai Crime No. Cr 94/21 in this case. Further investigation is going on.”
