The zonal convention of North Central Railway Employees Union was held at Vivekananda Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Agra under the chairmanship of Zonal Executive President Ambika Prasad Srivastava. National General Secretary Mangesh Deshpande and special guest Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Uttar Pradesh’s National General Secretary Anil Upadhyay were present as the chief guest.
General Secretary IPS Chauhan conducted the convention. Various resolutions were passed in the convention like zonal meeting biennial instead of triennial, membership fee of two hundred rupees instead of hundred rupees, payment of fridge DA arrears, implementation of old pension system, LDCE open to all, privatization of railways/ Proposal was passed to ban corporatisation, stop the deduction of contribution from salary etc. In the convention a new executive was formed by dissolving the old executive.
In the new committee, the responsibility of President was given to Raja Ram Meena, General Secretary Hemant Vishwakarma, Organization Minister CK Chaturvedi, Treasurer Kundan Kumar Singh. National Organization Minister Dilip Chakraborty, Central Working Committee member Suryakant Sharma, former Zonal General Secretary IPS Chauhan, Banshi Badan Jha, OP Mishra, MK Jha, Saroj Kumar, DK Tyagi, Manoj Yadav, CP Garg, Laik Ahmed were present in the program. , Rakesh Awasthi etc. were present.
