The government says that no case of corona has ever been reported on Everest. Nepal’s tourism official has termed the reports of climbers being corona positive as baseless. He said that there was a patient of pneumonia who was cured after treatment. Coughing in the dry mountain air is not new, he said. Aung Tshering Sherpa calls for investigation

He was treated in the hospital for about a week, after which he returned to the base camp. Aung Tshering Sherpa, former president of the Nepal Mountaineering Association, has questioned whether the Sherpa and the climber were supermen.
