A source close to the project tells ETimes, “Ram madhvani Working on his next original web series based on Jallianwala Bagh. This is tentatively titled ‘Jallianwala Bagh: Awakening of a Nation‘. The series which will soon go into production this year is based on research from hunter commission It was formed to investigate what really happened in Punjab, especially in Jallianwala Bagh.”
The source further added, “It is produced by Madhvani and it is one of the projects that he is going to make under his banner Ram Madhvani Films.”
The news of Madhvani’s project came soon after the Bollywood director Karan Johar Announced his new film which will also be based on Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The filmmaker revealed that the film will capture real-life incidents and will be helmed by Karan Singh Tyagi.
