Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up of four regular posts on direct recruitment and two posts on deputation (including short term contract basis). Basically, the recruitment is being conducted to hire scientists for a total of six vacancies. The last date for submission of online applications is July 25 at incois.gov.in.
Direct recruitment will be done to fill up the posts of Scientist E, C and B. Scientist E and C posts consist of one vacant seat each, which is reserved for candidates belonging to the unreserved category. Whereas Scientist B posts consist of two vacancies which are reserved for general category candidates only. The recruitment for the post of Scientist C will be done on deputation (including short term contract basis) against two vacancies.

INCOIS Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Age Range: The age limit for Scientist E post is 50 years while for Scientist C post is 40 years. Candidates applying for Scientist B posts should be below 35 years of age. Those applying for Scientist C (on deputation) posts should be below 56 years of age.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates willing to apply for Scientist posts must have completed Post Graduate like MSc or MTech in relevant field with experience. The official notice states that those having PhD qualification will be desirable for this post.

For deputation posts, the printout of the form along with supporting documents has to be sent by post/speed post within 10th August by 5 PM.
INCOIS Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview and recommendations of the selection committee. The initial posting will be at INCOIS, Hyderabad, however, selected candidates may be required to work anywhere in India.
INCOIS Recruitment 2022: Salary
Applicants selected for the post of Scientist E will get salary between Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900. The pay scale for Scientist C post will be from Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700. The salary for Scientist B posts will be between Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500.
