Madhya Pradesh: CM Chouhan takes a break amid tight election campaign

Everyone needs a break or two and on Monday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was seen taking a break in the middle of campaigning for the upcoming two phases of civic polls in the state.

The Chief Minister took to Twitter to share a video of himself playing badminton at Bhopal’s Bhojpur Club.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Chouhan said in a tweet, “Today, when I got some time from election campaign, enjoyed badminton with the members of Bhojpur club located in Bhopal’s Arera Colony.”

“After many days, after spending a few moments like this, the mind became very happy and blissful. Felt like childhood has returned. Really enjoyed it,” the CM said.

Chouhan is holding a roadshow and addressing public meetings for elections to 413 urban bodies in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday and July 13, where the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Asaduddin Owaisi-led India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will contest the civic polls.
