Squid emerges as top gainer in the game crypto token, which has seen a rollercoaster ride since its launch global cryptocurrency market November 6, on Saturday. However, bitcoin suffered losses in the last 24 hours and fell to $60,000. At the time of writing this article, one coin of the world’s largest cryptocurrency was trading at $60,583.36, weeks after it touched a high of $66,000. This was 1.41 percent lower than the previous 24 hours.
Ethereum was also down 2.73 percent during the last day. At the time of writing this article, one unit of the world’s second largest cryptocurrency was trading at $4,368. Binance, Dogecoin and Polkadot also declined, while Solana gained nearly 4 percent. The Shiba Inu rose to $0.00005678 on Saturday. It has gained 11.09 per cent in the last 24 hours, which is a pleasant move after a steady decline over the past few days.
Meanwhile, the global cryptocurrency market capitalization stood at $2.67 trillion on Friday, November 6. Data from CoinMarketCap shows that it was down 1.72 percent during the previous day. On the other hand, the crypto market volume declined by 10.84 percent during the last 24 hours, said the data available on the website. The total volume of the crypto market where coins were traded in the last 24 hours stood at $112.34 billion at the time of writing this article. “Total volume in DeFi is currently $13.82B, 12.30% of the total crypto market 24-hour volume. The volume of all stablecoins is now $87.39B, which is 77.79 percent of the total crypto market 24-hour volume,” stated in a note on the CoinMarketCap website.
Data from crypto tracking website shows that squid game was the biggest gainer in the global crypto market. In the past 24 hours, the value of one squid token has increased by 816.72 percent. According to the data, the price of one token was $0.6508. However, following the price hike, CoinMarketCap issued a warning amid recent allegations of fraud against the Squid Game token. “We have received several reports that the website and social media are no longer working and users are not able to sell this token at PancakeSwap. There is increasing evidence that the project is rough. Please do your due diligence and exercise extreme caution. This project, while clearly inspired by the Netflix show of the same name, is not affiliated with the official IP,” it said.
The chain took second place in the top gainers pack, up $21.89 and 665.35 percent in the past 24 hours. GreenMoonZilla, which is valued at $0.00008422 per token, continued its uptrend and was ranked third with a gain of 469.83 percent on the last day.
As far as losers are concerned, the top spot went to Phoenix Global. The price of one token declined by 97.49 percent and was trading at $0.02263. Ethereum ranked second and third on the Meta and Dragon Battle charts, losing 94.36 and 85.38 percent, respectively, during the final day.
