Sachin Waje sent to police custody till November 13

Sachin Waje, an accused in the recovery case, has been sent to police custody till November 13. Sachin Waje was earlier sent to the custody of Mumbai Crime Branch till November 6. Today that custody is over. Waje has once again been sent to the custody of Mumbai Police till November 13. Mumbai’s Esplanade Court has sent Sachin Waje to police custody till November 13 in the recovery case.

Sachin Waje was detained by the Mumbai Crime Branch in a recovery case in Goregaon, Mumbai. After taking Waje into custody, the police produced him in the court. He was then sent to the custody of the Crime Branch till November 6. Today after the end of that custody, he was once again present in the court. The court extended his custody till November 13.

A case of recovery is registered against Sachin Waje in Goregaon, Mumbai. Former Mumbai commissioner Parambir Singh is also an accused in this case of recovery. Waje was lodged in Navi Mumbai’s Taloja Jail in connection with the possession of an explosive-laden car outside Antilia, the home of famous industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and the murder of its owner Mansukh Hiren. Sachin Waje was sacked after being arrested on charges of Antilia case.

Non-bailable warrant is also issued against Parambir Singh in this case of recovery.

The Mumbai Crime Branch, which is probing the recovery case registered at the Goregaon police station, had appealed to the special court to extend Waje’s custody. In the same case of recovery, a non-bailable warrant has also been issued against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh.

Goregaon businessman Vimal Agarwal had filed a complaint against Sachin Waje, Parambir Singh, Sumit Singh, Alpesh Patel, Vinay Singh and Riyaz Patel. Vimal Aggarwal had said, ‘I have a BOHO restaurant and bar in Goregaon in my partnership. There is a BCB store and bar in Andheri. To keep these two running without any interruption, Sachin Waje and other accused had taken 9 lakh rupees. The accused recovered Rs 9 lakh from January-February 2020 to March 2021. After this allegation of Agarwal, Mumbai Police registered a case in this case under sections 384, 385 and 34 of IPC. Police arrested Sumit Singh in this case. The Borivali court had sent the accused to police custody till August 23.
