Prabhakar Cell, an independent witness, on Monday appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Delhi Vigilance Team, which was probing paid charges in the Cordelia Cruz drugs case, in which Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is accused. . The NCB on Sunday issued summons to the cell and directed it to appear before the vigilance team to record the statement.

Pal, accompanied by his lawyer, arrived under police protection at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) mess in suburban Bandra at 2 pm.

This is his first appearance in front of NCB’s Vigilance team. Which is investigating allegations of payment in the cruise drugs case.

The NCB’s vigilance team led by the agency’s Deputy Director General (Northern Zone) Dnyaneshwar Singh arrived here from Delhi on Monday morning.

SAIL, which claims to be the bodyguard of NCB witness KP Gosavi, claimed in an affidavit last month that it had heard Gosavi discussing a payment deal of Rs 25 crore when NCB arrested Aryan Khan.

SAIL claimed that Gosavi had said that Rs 8 crore of the deal was to be given to Sameer Wankhede, Regional Director, NCB Mumbai.

SAIL’s allegations had prompted the NCB to order a vigilance inquiry against the NCB officials and others. Wankhede had denied the allegations against him.

Last month, a vigilance team led by Singh had come to Mumbai to probe the allegations of extortion, but failed to record SAIL’s statement.

An official had earlier said that he has recorded the statements of eight people, including Wankhede, and collected some important documents and recordings related to the cruise drugs case.

Singh is also the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Federal Anti-Drug Agency.
