Congress MLA Assaults 2 Cooperative Bank Employees In Chhattisgarh; Video Surfaces

RaipurCongress leader Brihaspat Singh is in the soup after a video of him slapping co-operative bank employees went viral. The incident took place on Monday in the premises of the District Cooperative Central Bank’s Ramanujganj branch.

The Congress leader not only accepted his act but also made several allegations against the bank employees. They accused the employees of defrauding the farmers’ accounts in lieu of procurement of paddy, claiming that they did not release the funds to them, and also misbehaved with them. Employees of cooperative banks under Surguja division submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel demanding action against the ruling MLA.
