Congress released its manifesto 18 hours before voting on Thursday. He promised that 25 thousand rupees would be given to the corona affected family. While the Yogi government is already helping 50 thousand rupees. Similarly, the old age and widow pension has been talked about to 1000. The Yogi government increased the pension to 1000 in December 2021 itself.

1. Corona will give 25 thousand to the affected family, already getting 50 thousand

2. Recruitment of two lakh teachers, at present 73 thousand posts are vacant
In the manifesto page number 23, point number 4, two lakh vacant posts of teachers will be filled in Uttar Pradesh.
3,71,610 are filled in 4,45,321 teacher posts
There are 1.58 lakh schools of Basic Education Council in UP. 4,45,321 posts are sanctioned for these schools. Presently 3,71,610 teachers are teaching children. According to the department, 73,711 posts are vacant. Congress has promised to recruit 2 lakh teachers in its manifesto. In the promise of teacher recruitment, the Congress party has not mentioned Basic Education Council, Matriculation and Intermediate Colleges.
3. Promise to increase old age pension of 1000 rupees
Congress has issued a separate manifesto for women named Shakti Vidhan. He claimed to increase old age and widow pension of 1000 rupees per month.
1000 is already getting before the promises of Congress
At present, old age-widow and handicapped pension is only 1000 rupees per month. In such a situation, if Congress comes to the government, then there will be no pressure on it to increase it. Because, he never promised more than this.
4. Village heads will get 6 thousand rupees per month
Page number 18 of the manifesto, point number 2, the salary of the village head will be increased to Rs 6,000 per month.
At this time the government is giving 5 thousand rupees.
At present, village heads in UP get a salary of Rs 5000. The salaries of princes increase by 15-20% on average every third year. In such a situation, the salary of the princes will be 7 thousand by 2025. Congress has promised to give 6 thousand. For the princes, this looks like a loss deal.
On January 21, Congress released its second manifesto named Recruitment Vidhan Yuva Manifesto.
5. Offer free treatment up to 10 lakhs to the patient
Page No. 19 of the Manifesto, Point No. 2, Free treatment up to Rs.10 lakh will be offered to every hospitalized patient.
At this time the government is giving free treatment of 10 lakhs.
At present, two types of free treatment scheme is going on in UP. The first central government’s Ayushman Bharat scheme. Second Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. Under both the schemes, there is a provision of free treatment of Rs 5 lakh each. In the budget of 2021-22, the UP government also allocated Rs 100 crore. Congress is promising that up to 10 lakh free treatment will be offered.
6. Promise to increase the price of sugarcane by Rs 400 a quintal
Page number 7, point number 2 of the manifesto, sugarcane will be purchased at the rate of Rs 400 per quintal.
At present, the UP government is giving Rs 350 a quintal.
At present, the price of sugarcane is Rs 350 per quintal. The Yogi government increased Rs 45 between 2017 and 2021. Between 2012 and 2017, Akhilesh Yadav increased the price by Rs 65. Between 2007 and 2012, Mayawati increased the price of sugarcane by Rs 115 per quintal. Congress is talking about buying 400 rupees for a quintal if the government is formed.
