At Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh, he clearly told the officers that all arrangements should be made in the mandis. The officer himself should keep an eye on the purchase with cleanliness. Apart from this, the farmers should be paid the crop within 24 hours. At the same time, strict orders have been given to ensure that wheat from neighboring states is not sold in Punjab. Punjab Food Supply Minister Lalchand Kataruchak said that for this the officers have been asked to seal the borders of Punjab. In fact, MSP is not available on wheat in many states, so they bring it to Punjab for sale. He said that the arrival of wheat in the mandis is less. Season will be at peak in 2-4 days. We have settled the bags and cash credit limit. A blockade will be made to stop the wheat coming from outside.

The government claims that the farmers will be paid within 24 hours. In Punjab, after April 10, the arrival of wheat in the mandis is expected to increase.
