Mumbai: In the latest update on businessman Raj Kundra case, CBI sources have revealed that the entire porn racket was operated by a WhatsApp group. Sources said Raj Kundra is the admin of a WhatsApp group named ‘H’ where he used to deal with his peers and discuss strategies to trick women into rackets and views of videos shared by his team on various apps. Sources further said that there are five members in this WhatsApp group ‘H’ and they discussed all the transaction related issues and shared ideas on how to increase their video production and profits.
Riyan John, a close aide of Raj Kundra, has also been arrested by the Mumbai Police. John handled the technical end of the video so that the “audience” would not face any interruptions while watching.

Mumbai Police’s crime branch on Monday night arrested businessman Raj Kundra for being the alleged “main conspirator” in a case of making pornographic films and publishing them through mobile applications.
Kundra is the husband of actor and businessman Shilpa Shetty.
The Property Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch had registered an FIR in connection with the case in February this year and arrested nine persons soon thereafter. Police officials said that Kundra’s name came up during interrogation of the accused.
On Monday, Kundra was called for questioning, following which he was arrested. Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale said, “We have arrested Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the prime conspirator. We have sufficient evidence in this regard. The investigation is on.”
Raj Kundra will be produced in the court today and the police will seek his remand for further investigation. So far 11 accused including Kundra have been arrested in the case.
