According to the police, the accident happened around 3.15 am when a bus going from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi rammed into a Volvo bus parked on the highway.

Police said there was no fog on the road at the time of the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Rahul Kumar (21), a resident of Dhanbad; Pradeep Kumar (22)of Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district; Meena Bai (44) of Chhattisgarh; Rohit (53)), a resident of Sakra Janjgir Champa in Chhattisgarh.
The injured are – Manoj Kumar and Arvind Patel of Kushinagar, UP; Hari Shankar, his wife Nandini and daughter Sakshi of Thithari village in Chhattisgarh; Lakshmi Bai and Kavita of Sakra village in Chhattisgarh; Ram Ratan of Sant Kabir Nagar district, UP and one more.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot from Ambala’s Baldev Nagar police station and rescued the passengers from the buses.
The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital in Ambala.
A case has been registered against unknown in Baldev Nagar under sections 279 (rash driving), 337 (endangering the life and personal safety of others), 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Is. Police Station SDR.
