WhatsApp Users may get a new feature that will help them find nearby businesses with ease. According to a report by WABetaInfo, a platform that tracks the upcoming features of the messaging platform, WhatsApp may get a new section called Business Nearby. As the name suggests, users will be able to see restaurants, stores, grocery stores and more in a separate section. However, it is not clear whether users will be able to order directly from WhatsApp or will only be able to see contact details, location and other such information.
The report states that the feature has been spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android, but is likely to arrive on the iPhone as well. This feature is currently under development and there is no fixed date for its rollout.
During this, whatsapp business Accounts are getting a new shortcut for quickly replying to messages. Available for both iOS and Android beta users, WhatsApp has added a new shortcut to the Chat Share action menu. The new option, along with Camera, Photo and Video Library, Catalog and other options, can be seen when a user taps on the ‘+’ sign for iPhone and the attachment sign for Android. With this, WhatsApp Business Beta users will be able to respond to messages quickly.
Quick reply feature is already available for WhatsApp Business account. It can be activated by pressing ‘/’ on the keyboard. They can then select a message from the list to send to the subscriber.
WhatsApp recently enabled a new feature to protect its users, “to prevent your last seen and online status to unknown contacts if you’ve never chatted with them.” New feature eliminates capability for some apps app Store And to check last seen or online status of selected contacts on Google Play Store WhatsApp.
Unless a user has an active chat with a person or if they have chatted with that person, they will not be able to check last seen or online status. With this feature no stranger will be able to see when you were last seen on WhatsApp or what is your online status.
