Burglars Involved In 19 Offences Held | Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: The police on Wednesday arrested four persons including a woman and detected 19 cases of burglaries in the city.
The prevention of crime branch (PCB) had received a tip-off about the gang that used to break into houses and decamp with cash and valuables.
The cops kept an eye on Tandalja Road and intercepted the gang that was on its way to commit burglary. The accused tried to flee on the motorbikes but were nabbed by the alert policemen.
When questioned, the accused identified as Shamsher Sikhligar, Rajveersingh Sikhligar and Pyaresingh Sikhligar, confessed that they had committed several burglaries in different areas of the city.
The trio used to give all the stolen ornaments to a woman named Preeti Soni who was also arrested later. The PCB sleuths recovered cash, valuables and jewellery worth Rs 5.18 lakh from the gang.
