BSP founder Kanshi Ram’s family accuses Mayawati of usurping the party

New Delhi: The family of late Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) founder Kanshi Ram has said that whoever can defeat Mayawati in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, they will help them.

Mayawati has been accused by Kanshi Ram’s younger sister and nephew of usurping the party for their family members.

Both are in Lucknow for a function organized by former MLA Savitribai Phule on the occasion of Constitution Day on Friday.

Kanshi Ram’s sister Swaran Kaur in her report quoted Kanshi Ram’s sister Swaran Kaur as saying, “Mayawati is anti-constitutional and she has destroyed the party which Kanshi Ram had created. She has turned the party into a family enterprise.” And can’t do anything for the poor.”

Swaran Kaur, executive director of Kanshi Ram Foundation, said that the family is not affiliated with any political party.

Mayawati’s nephew Lakhbir Singh said that he had gone to the Kanshi Ram memorial in Lucknow on Thursday and was disappointed to find Mayawati’s memorial next to the BSP founder.

Singh said, “They have hijacked the party and made it a private limited firm. In the UP elections, we will support anyone who can defeat the BSP. We will also campaign against the BSP in Punjab, where he is the Akalis. Contesting elections in alliance with the party.” ,

UP Assembly Election 2022:

Political temperatures are rising in Uttar Pradesh as the country’s largest state prepares for a high-octane campaign in 2022 for the 403-member assembly elections.

While the Samajwadi Party (SP) is optimistic about a return, the battlefield is open, with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaning on the prized throne of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

After a triangular fight between two former chief ministers, SP’s Akhilesh Yadav and BSP’s Mayawati, the ‘grand old’ Congress party is left as the fourth violin in the game.
