BJP split horizontally with Roopa Gangopadhyay

With BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP and woman leader Rupa Gangopadhyay, the Bengal-BJP split horizontally. Because no action has been taken against him yet. Where he has made anti-party posts one after the other on social media. He even insulted the state leaders in the party’s virtual meeting and went out to call Bhatt’s meeting. It was then decided that strict action would be taken against Roopa Gangopadhyay. But sources say that this is not going to happen to divide the party.

Not only this, he has favored independent candidate Gaurav Biswas dissatisfied with BJP in ward number 8 of Kolkata Municipality. But the party did not support the candidate. The BJP MP prayed for the victory of independent candidate Gaurav, husband of late councilor Teesta Biswas. With this, intense tension has started.

Why could no action be taken against Rupar? On the condition of anonymity, the BJP state leader said, “The issue of action against him was discussed. But in the end it was decided that the matter would be decided by the central leadership. Because many people don’t want action against him. Also, now there is election for Calcutta Municipality. It was decided that it would not be right to do anything at the moment.

The state leadership declined to comment on the matter. The question of the anti-Rajat faction in the state BJP has led to the expulsion of petty leaders within the party in anger. Why was Rupa Gangopadhyay exempted from openly opposing the party there? He has been told that the central leadership will take action. State BJP does not have power. However, information about the matter has been received.
