Bigg Boss OTT: Just before her entry inside the BB OTT house, Divya Aggarwal told us that she wants to win the show for her father, who died last year due to Covid-19.

Divya Agarwal created history by winning the first digital season of Bigg Boss. reality show queen utta Big Boss OTT took home the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. While Nishant Bhatt was declared the first runner up, Shamita Shetty finished in the top 3. It was a huge win for Divya, who entered the show without any connection. Divya is known to be a competitive animal. She had previously won MTV Ace of Space and was also one of the finalists of Splitsvilla 10.
However, it was not an easy journey for Divya, who mostly played alone in the show hosted by Karan Johar. She participated in Bigg Boss OTT only a few months after she lost her father Sanjay Aggarwal to Kovid-19. During her journey, Divya often breaks into tears remembering her father, especially when she was surrounded after the first Sunday Ka Vaar episode. While she was undoubtedly an impressive and smart player, she felt unsupported throughout her journey. But she never gave up, thanks to her father, who always encouraged her to stay strong in every situation.
Before entering the Bigg Boss OTT house, Divya had told us that she wanted to carry forward her father’s legacy through the show. “You are your family, partner and for that matter, a person even before anyone else in life. I really want to test my strength and the way I deal with certain things. Because in the outside world All the responsibility was on my shoulders. I have been financially and emotionally responsible for my mother and brother. Both of them are very sensitive and emotional. But it was my father who was very strong in the family and now he made me pass on his legacy. And, I think Bigg Boss OTT is the perfect opportunity to show what kind of daughter he raised. I know there will be a lot of questions on parenting and stuff but I have to 100 percent I’m sure I won’t feel sorry for it even if I’m wrong,” Divya told us before entering the house.
Even though Divya failed to form a real bond in the house, she made sure that it did not affect her game. She was not afraid to voice her opinion even when the whole house turned against her. She actually came across as a female army in the show.
