Arjun Kapoor shares a great bond with his father Boney Kapoor. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this father-son duo finally took their first trip. He traveled to Europe and also attended a live concert of Hans Zimmer at the Frankfurt Festhalle. While the Ishaqzaade actor expressed his excitement to watch a live concert, he revealed that the visit was even more special as it was his first visit with Boney.
In an interview with IANS, Arjun revealed that Boney and he have never traveled together. “What makes this trip even more special for me is because it’s my first trip with my dad. We’ve never traveled together and it was wonderful to relax with him and talk to him and enjoy the evening. He was at Hans Zimmer’s are also fans and thoroughly enjoyed the show. We made a plan to make it happen and I am glad it turned out perfect.’
Talking about Hans Zimmer’s performance, she shared, “It was a dream come true for me to see Hans Zimmer perform live. It was emotional, inspiring and incredible. He was one of the most talented human beings to ever walk the earth.” and it was an honor to see his talent up close and personal in Frankfurt. I’ve always been a huge fan of his music. I mean his work is varied and extraordinary.
“I’ve been mesmerized by his talent in films like The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Man of Steel, Interstellar, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to experience him live,” he added.
Arjun also shared a video of the same on his Instagram handle and wrote a heart-warming note which read, “Hans Zimmer live with dad! @boney.kapoor what an experience! It’s a dream come true for me.” As it is… it was emotional, inspiring and unbelievable. I have checked this off my bucket list… A truly awesome audio and visual show. All my favorite performances by him up close and personal Viewing… can it get any better than this? Legendary music. Best company ever. A night to remember.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Aasman Bhardwaj’s directorial debut Kutty, which also starred Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu and Konkona Sensharma. The actor will next be seen in The Lady Killer and the remake of Meri Patni, which is slated to release this year.
