Actor Arjun Bijlani on Friday revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus. The 39-year-old actor shared the news in a post on Instagram and said that he currently has mild symptoms. “How corona sings for you and your expression when you know you are positive!! #ekmainaurekktu mild symptoms, isolated in my room, taking care of myself.

Bijlani wrote in the post, “Keep me in your prayers #feelkaroreelkaro. Please be extremely careful and wear your masks. God bless everyone.”

Last year, Bijlani’s wife Neha Swamy and son Ayaan had tested positive for coronavirus. They both recovered later.

On the work front, ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’ fame Arjun Bijlani was announced as the new host of talent-based reality show, ‘India’s Got Talent’ this month. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Badshah, Kirron Kher and Manoj Muntashir acted as judges, with Arjun Bijlani stepping in as the host of the show. However, it is yet to be seen how the makers will handle this situation now.

Earlier, sharing his excitement on hosting ‘India’s Got Talent’, Arjun said in a statement: “I am very happy to have the opportunity to host an iconic show like ‘India’s Got Talent’. Also, let my excitement be doubled. Gone because I will be sharing the same stage as our wonderful panel of judges.”

“I have been such a huge fan of Shilpa ma’am and Kiran ma’am, it’s real that I will be interacting with them on ‘India’s Got Talent’. I hope the audience enjoys the show like all of us and I wish the contestants all the best As best they can, they give it to win the grand trophy,” he said.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Thursday reported 1,179 new coronavirus cases, including 23 with omicron variants and 17 deaths, said the state health department.
