Arbaaz Khan lashed out at the trollers and told how accountability on social media is limited to a few people.

Bollywood Actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan recently opened up about social media trolling and online cancel culture. He took on trolls and spoke candidly about how accountability on social media is limited to only a few people. He also said that celebs are trolled for everything they do and have to pay a heavy price for it.

In a recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, the actor spoke about how being a role model affects him. He said that celebrities cannot be caught even with cigarettes in their hands as they are supposed to be role models. Talking about social media trolls, he said that they are faceless people on social media who troll celebs, abuse them and their families and say whatever they want. He further added that on social media people comment on the personal life of celebs, their professional life and everything, however, celebs cannot do that. He said that there is a disparity between celebs and common man on social media and it works on some strange level.

He further said that celebs get a lot of attention through social media, a lot of work, a lot of work in this and sometimes their respect is also felt because there is no punishment period on social media. “Social media is no longer a joke, social media is driving your life, your livelihood and your reputation,” he said. He said the punishment against crime on social media is very strict.

He also talked about his upcoming talk show Pinch Season 2. It will premiere on July 21. The show will have guests like Salman Khan, Ananya Panday, Kiara Advani, Ayushmann Khurrana, Farah Khan and others. Salman will be the opener of the show.
