South Carolina officials say they are investigating a shooting at a Hampton County club that injured at least nine people, the second mass shooting in the state in as many days.

Officials in the US state of South Carolina say they are investigating a shooting at a Hampton County club in the early hours of Sunday that injured at least nine people. This was the second mass shooting in the state in as many days.

The State Law Enforcement Division said in an email that no one was reported killed in the Easter morning shooting at the club in Hampton County. There was no immediate information available on the severity of the injuries.

SLED says it was asked by the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office to investigate. Hampton County is approximately 80 miles (about 129 kilometers) west of Charleston.
