The SSP claims that the encounter started at around one o’clock in the night with Badan Singh and his partner Akshay Singh, who were absconding in the doctor’s kidnapping case. Police was checking in Kathpura area of ​​Jagner police station area. During this, Badan and Akshay were seen coming at high speed on the bike. When the police stopped them, they fled at high speed.

The police stationed on the spot informed the control room. The teams of SSP Muniraj, SP Rural Satyajit Gupta, SOG and SWAT were immediately alerted. Everyone went after the miscreants. Seeing being surrounded by the police, Badan Singh turned the bike towards the forest of Kachpura. His bike slipped ahead. The SSP claims that despite seeing a large number of police forces, both of them started firing.

In retaliatory firing, one miscreant got shot first, while one escaped in the front. The injured miscreant was taken to the police hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead. On the other hand the rest of the police teams started chasing the other miscreant. At some distance he also opened fire on the police and he too was killed in retaliatory firing. It has also been claimed that two members of the police team were injured in the encounter.

The police asked the miscreants to stop. On which he opened fire.

The SOG team has identified one of the accused as Badan Singh, a vicious crook resident of Dholpur, with a prize of one lakh and Akshay. During this encounter, bullet proof jackets of SSP Muniraj and SP West Satyajit Gupta were shot and two policemen were also injured. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Badan Singh was the mastermind of kidnapping and ransom
Vicious Badan Singh had a lot of terror in Agra. Badan Singh had carried out three kidnapping incidents even before the doctor kidnapping case. After the kidnapping of Dr. Umakant, he was about to demand a ransom of five crores. But the police had already freed the doctor. A reward of one lakh was announced by ADG Rajiv Krishna on Badan Singh.

Police has carried out three encounters in Agra in the last one week. On July 17, two criminals who robbed 17 kg of gold and 6 lakh cash in broad daylight at the Manappuram Gold Loan office in Kamalanagar police station area were gunned down by the police in an encounter hours after the incident. After this, four accused of robbery at the public convenience center in Saiyan late on Tuesday night were arrested after an encounter. Now around one o’clock on Wednesday night, the vicious prize crook Badan Singh and his accomplice Akshay Rathore have been killed in an encounter. Fearing a police encounter, Prashant Sharma, an accused in Manappuram gold robbery, surrendered himself at the police station Kamalanagar yesterday.

On July 13, miscreants kidnapped the doctor
There is Vidya Nursing Home of Dr Umakant Gupta in Trans Yamuna Colony Phase-2 in Etmauddaula police station area. His residence is behind the nursing home. Dr. Gupta had left his home on July 13 at 7:30 pm by car (UP 80 EJ 7472) to go to the hospital. On normal days, he used to return by 10 o’clock. But, did not return till 11 pm on Tuesday. Both his mobile phones were also switched off since 8.30 pm. In such a situation, Dr. Vidya Gupta, wife of Dr. Umakant, got worried. He informed the police about it.

After this, many police teams started searching for the doctor. The Agra Police also took the help of the Madhya Pradesh Police in the matter. On July 14, he was rescued by the police from the rugged forest. Since then Badan Singh and his accomplice were on the run.
