The statement assumes significance as fans of actor Ajith have been addressing him as Thala for a long time. Similarly, fans of actor Vijay have been addressing their favorite hero as Thalapathy. Fans of both the actors are known to constantly clash with each other on social media.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Ajith’s upcoming film ‘Valimai’. Produced by Boney Kapoor, Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.
